He currently has professional memberships in both the Professional Insurance Agents of Wisconsin (PIAW) & the Big I as a “Trusted Choice” Independent Agent; and carries an active insurance license in multiple states. Mike sits on the Legislative Committee for PIAW and is very engaged within the insurance marketplace. Although his specialty is in Personal Lines products like Homeowners, Auto, Personal Liability & Life Insurance, Mike also has extensive knowledge in Business & Commercial Insurance.
Over the years Mike has been very active in the Burlington Community. Undergraduate Degree in the College of Exercise & Sport Science – Physical Education Teaching at UW-La Crosse, Master’s Degree in Sport Administration at UW-La Crosse, Former All-Conference Middle Linebacker for University of WI-La Crosse (1994-1998) & was part of the 1995 UW-La Crosse Football National Championship team that went 14-0, as the winningest team in UW-La Crosse Football history. Mike was also the Linebackers Coach for UW-La Crosse (1999 -2002) Head Football Coach for South Milwaukee High School (2002-2005) Former Assistant Varsity Football Coach for Burlington High School 2006-2011 & Def. Cord. From 2014-2021.

In 2021 I transitioned to the insurance industry with May’s Insurance after a 37-year career in the printing field. During my printing stint, I was lucky to have opportunities to train others, be a leader, create, design, print, assemble, etc. everything from: business cards, roadside billboards, banners, bulletins, books, mailings, NASCAR /Olympic manuals and projects, “well-known performer” back stage passes and so many other “top secret” projects!!!
My love in the printing field began changing – which led me to make some career changes of my own. After joining May’s Insurance and earning my license in 2021, I found a new passion for helping, educating and assisting insureds which is very rewarding in itself! I’ve learned so much from my co-workers, our Underwriters and attending CE classes. So much to share!!! Give me a call – and allow me to assist you!
